Which glass quality do we use?
As with all products, high material quality is a prerequisite for a quality end product, aquarium glass!
We only use high-quality branded glass from Pilkington (NSG Group), the actual inventor of the float glass process, or Saint-Gobain. As with all products, the raw materials used play a key role in the quality of the end product. Another important detail in the production of high-quality glass is the care and duration in cooling down the liquid glass mass to avoid tension.
How is the glass for the aquarium made?
Almost all types of glass such as window glass, car windows, mirrors or aquarium glass are now manufactured using the float glass process.
In the float process, the liquid glass melt is continuously passed onto a bath of liquid tin on which the melt floats. Since the melt is lighter than the liquid tin, a uniform layer is formed, which, due to the different surface tensions of the two materials, has a very smooth surface receives. After the glass has passed through a cooling oven, which guarantees continuous cooling, which virtually eliminates any surface tension, it can be cut and further processed.

In addition, ESG copes well with temperature changes. We use this for aquariums that are exposed to large temperature fluctuations.
VSG glass Laminated safety glass, VSG glass is a special safety and functional glass which we use especially for large, XXL aquariums. Which aquarium silicone do we use?

What type of bonding do we use in production?
In our bonding we use extremely durable and proven butt bonding, which is sealed with a safety seam. Gluing on a miter is also possible.
